McKechnie Cleaning Services are an Irish family owned and run Company.
We believe in the importance of having a dedicated contract management team in place, who are responsible for the effective and efficient day to day management of each contract, with many of our managers with us for more than ten years.
Along with the on site manager, the following Key Management will be overseeing each contract:
Ian McKechnie – Managing Director
Ian trained in London for five years and is a member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science. He returned to Ireland in 1976, and has completed over 30 years in the cleaning business in various Technical and Management positions.
Pauline J. McKechnie – Sales Director
Pauline graduated from UCC with a B.Sc, and has 15 years experience in the cleaning business in various sales and technical roles.
Edel O’Connell – Director Key Accounts and Business Development
Edel spent ten years working in Marketing and Hotel Management with some of the world’s largest hotel chains in the UK, US, and Ireland, giving her a wealth of sales, marketing and management experience. Edel was named as one of Cork’s “Top Business Women” in 2006.
Mike O’Shaughnessy – Director and Company Secretary
Mike spent 12 years as Country Controller for Motorola Ireland. His multinational experience also includes senior finance positions in Digital Equipment BV in both Galway and Clonmel.
Natasha Monahan – HR and Operational Support Manager
Natasha joined McKechnie Cleaning Services over ten years ago with a National Certificate in Business Studies and a Certificate in Hotel Management. She started out in Payroll/Accounts and was promoted to HR and Operational Support Manager bringing with her a wealth of experience in operations and HR.
Caroline Sweeney – Regional Coordinator
Caroline joined McKechnies with experience in facility management in the UK, Australia and Ireland. She was promoted to Regional Coordinator after impressing senior managers with her management of her contracts and her knowledge of the cleaning industry.
McKechnie Cleaning Services have a policy to recruit local labour from the area surrounding their contracts where possible.
